I think Honolulu Coffee Shop was honestly one of the best places we went to. We didn’t eat that much there, but I think the portions were pretty massive. The staff were all so nice to us, which didn’t happen at every place we went to. The macaroni broth was really flavorful and I think this really was a filling meal. The Honolulu Ice was basically just shave ice with red bean and mango, and it was such an unusual combination but I thought it worked really well, even though I’m not a huge fan of red bean. I will say that there weren’t many vegetarian options, so that was a bit difficult for me. There is actually a bakery attached to the cafe where you can buy snacks-to-go, and when Ming and I were in the area another time, we bought and ate some of their amazing egg tarts. All in all, Honolulu Coffee Shop was amazing and I would without a doubt recommend it for anyone looking for some good food.
