Hello, Betsy! What is your favorite tool of the trade?

At my day job (which is currently doing Visual Development at Paramount Animation), I mostly use Photoshop because it is quick and easy to edit.

For personal work that isn’t digital, I end up using a lot of gouache and water colors. I think the brand that I use now is Windsor-Newton, but I’m not especially picky. I love to sketch with red Col-Erase pencils, and have a whole pile of ink pens that I’m just starting to mess around with!
