Michael Cole recently conducted a sit down interview with HHH about the vacated World Heavyweight Title due to Seth Rollins’ injury. He goes on to praise Rollins and talks down Roman Reigns for turning down his offer to join The Authority. Something about Reigns following a misguided set of morals and all.

HHH said Rollins’ absence will create “chaos” and “an unstable environment where anything can happen.” When asked who would be his choice to be the World Heavyweight Champion, he named off each of the tournament finalists - Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio - and said maybe the unthinkable can happen and Kalisto makes it all the way. HHH ends the interview saying that, "Somebody would be crazy enough to take that opportunity. Somebody is willing to do absolutely anything to be The Man."

Look at HHH’s choice of words: Chaos. Unstable. Crazy.

Those words perfectly describes a certain other member from The Shield. The Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose. The same name that HHH did not mention as his choice to be a champion. The same name that HHH has once again neglected to mention when talking about what The Authority has to offer.

This could all be a red herring. Maybe Reigns might change his mind and join The Authority. He finally becomes the heel that everyone has been clamoring for as he follows in The Rock’s footsteps from 1998′s Survivor Series: Deadly Games. 

Reigns seems like the obvious choice to be the next World Heavyweight Champion but his integrity and refusal to buy in are holding him back. He may be crazy for turning it down but there is someone out there that is just as crazy (and unstable) to not to take that opportunity.
