The upside(s) to the end of net neutrality. (Somewhat satirical)

Well, there are upsides you know. Maybe, I can finally read books again. Perhaps, being that in the US we are charged a ridiculous rate (compared to other places on the globe) for internet connection, I can finally save a good sum of money. After all, if all of my favorite information sites are slowed down, or unreachable, I might as well not pay for internet connectivity.

Perhaps the long neglected short waves will revitalize as a result of all the “alt” media realizing they can no longer get their message through the wires. This I truly hope to see happen regardless of what becomes of net neutrality.

Maybe I’ll actually go a outside and do out of doors stuff. Perhaps, others (being that they too can’t find anything of value online) will be outside too. But, likely people will simply accept the offerings their corporate masters serve them online. I hope they don’t

It might make time to get involved in the community, perhaps politically, but maybe simply join some clubs or something. The possibilities of a post net neutrality world are endless. So, dust off that library card, and go for a walk to your local library. Yea everyone!!!
