Types and bad habits
Note: Mostly from those I know personally in real life.
ExTP: Questions how is it offensive instead of apologizing immediately.
ENxJ: Work must be done NOW. Even if it means neglecting their needs like sleep.
ExFP: Always unintentionally contradict themselves and make others misunderstand their words.
ESxJ: They’re either always too quick or too late.
IxTJ: Instead of giving emotional support, they get confused and angry when someone is crying.
ISxP: Gets scared of possible outcomes that are unlikely to come true, even if they’re unsure about it.
IxFJ: Trying to explain one simple thing but ends up with an endless circular reasoning.
INxP: Tend to space out easily when there’s something in their mind, resulting to not listen when someone is talking to them.
These are actually the PoLR functions of each type, if the Socionics function definitions are used.
ExTP/xLE - PoLR Fi (Fi is about interpersonal relationships and avoiding offending people)
ENxJ/xIE - PoLR Si (Si is about physical needs and internal sensations)
ExFP/xEE - PoLR Ti (Ti is about logical consistency and avoidance of contradictions)
ESxJ/xSE - PoLR Ni (Ni is about time)
IxTJ/xLI - PoLR Fe (Fe is about emotions and emotional support)
ISxP/xSI - PoLR Ne (Ne is about possibilities)
IxFJ/xEI - PoLR Te (Te is about practical knowledge and the real world)
INxP/xII - PoLR Se (Se is about control and physical presence)
Note:
If you’re not familiar with Socionics, your PoLR function is the function opposite your tertiary function. So, if your tertiary function is Se, your PoLR function is Si.
