The Black Dragonfish has evolved some unique and terrifying dentition: unlike other observed mesopelagic and bathypelagic fish, it possesses a set of transparent 'invisible' teeth that do not reflect light. (Including the blue glow from their own photophores!) On top of that, these deadly hunters have a hinged skull which allows them to consume much larger prey than their small size might suggest.
