An image posted to Instagram (perhaps by one of said interns?) from Ryan's account on Saturday shows a bunch of eager, smiling faces. But look for longer than half a second, and you'll notice something is deeply, disturbingly wrong. Nearly all of the faces in the photo are white, and it didn't take long for the internet to do what it does best: mock this photo mercilessly.

Meet the DNCC 2016 Interns
With the Convention just over 40 days away, the
Democratic National Convention Committee welcomed the 2016 class of interns to Philadelphia
on Wednesday. Flooding in from colleges and universities across the country, this year’s class is equipped and eager to join the Convention team. Representing their home states, interns joined the DNCC team from states including: Hawai’i, Idaho, New York, and of course, Pennsylvania. The impressive team houses radio hosts, staff writers, managing editors, presidents of College Democrats, legislative research interns, local public relations directors, and previous congressional interns.
