I finally finished a commission for a Christmas present! I was worried I wouldnt get it finished to a level that I was happy with because of all the other projects I have going on, but long days of dedication paid off and I managed to deliver it just in time! I am really happy with the two A3 pieces as the scale and perspective were hard to get accurate free hand but by taking it step by step I think it worked out really well and resembles the reference images I was given well (which was a must in this case as it was important that I got the portraits and boat right!). In future I would like to have more time which would give me more freedom to mess up and experiment but which may result in a more creative piece! But due to my time restraints I am very relieved with how they went! This piece was another commission I have counted as part of my Art for Arthritis Research UK project, although it was originally based in August, I think that some of my commissions will still be going to this cause as it is just so beneficial to the community in research and help to the sufferers of all of the different types of conditions, from lupus to osteoarthritis that the charity helps! I take commissions (in the form of requesting an illustration in exchange for a donation) on my Justgiving page below: https://www.justgiving.com/awaspinawig/
